EMPLOYER STUDENT SELECTION INSTRUCTIONS

Please make your interview selections no later than NOON, Wednesday, August 4, 2010. Also, if you have not already done so, please enter your interviewer name(s) in the Sunbelt Consortium Symplicity by following the instructions below.

To create a resume packet and make your selections:

1. Login to the Sunbelt Consortium Symplicity Module.
2. Select [ Job Fair ] from the toolbar at the top of the screen.
3. Click the [ Applicants/Waitlist ] tab.
4. Choose [ Sunbelt 2010: August 27 ] from the session drop-down box. You must select the session in order to be able to select students for interviews. Click [ Search ].
5. A list of students that applied with your organization will appear in alphabetical order. Each student's application materials are accessible in the [ Documents ] column.
6. To batch print, check the desired candidates from the list of students (select all by clicking the "+" at the top of the check box column) and click [ Generate Resume/Applicant Packet ]. Another screen will provide the option of including additional requested materials, such as transcripts. Please Note: you will only be able to select additional items that you originally requested when registering.
7. Under the column titled [ Invitation ] indicate students as "preselect" or "alternate" depending on your level of interest. Students not chosen can remain "pending" or you can indicate "not selected."
8. The resume packet takes a few minutes to generate and will be accessible from the [ Resume/Schedule Packets ] tab.
9. **Depending on the amount of applicants or requested documents, you may have difficulty printing your pdf packet. If you experience difficulties printing, you may have to create smaller, separate resume books by selecting only half (or less) of your applicants instead of trying to create one large resume book.

How do I know how many students I can preselect?

You will see a small gray box to the right of where you select the [ Sunbelt 2010: August 27 ] session, as well as the office location; this box is labeled [ Invited Students.] You will see "preselects: # / #." The first (top) number shows how many you selected; the second (bottom) number tell you how many you are able to select. Below "preselects" you will see "alternates" - the same rule applies; everyone is able to select 15 alternates.

To add the name of your interviewer(s):

1. Follow steps 1 and 2 above.
2. Select the [ Confirmed Schedules ] tab.
3. Click on the date of your scheduled interviews.
4. Scroll down until you see the box labeled [ Room ] and [ Interviewer(s) ]. Once you type in the name(s) of your interviewer(s), scroll down and hit the [ Submit ] button.

To access the Sunbelt Symplicity module, go to https://law-sunbelt-csm.symplicity.com/employers/.

If you forget your password, please select the "Forgot my password" tab and enter your e-mail in the username field. A password will be generated to you via e-mail. **Please note that your password for this Symplicity module is not the same password for any other Symplicity module you may use. **
