PRESELECT & ALTERNATE SCHEDULING
The preselect scheduling period for the Sunbelt Minority Recruitment Program begins at NOON (CST) on Monday, August 18 and ends at 12:00 NOON (CST) on Friday, August 22, 2008.If you have been selected as an alternate, the sign up period begins at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 25 and ends at 12:00 NOON on Wednesday, August 27, 2008.
**Please note: We have made sure that there are enough spots for each preselected student on each employer schedule. However, specific time slots are on a first come, first served basis.**
HOW TO SCHEDULE/DECLINE INTERVIEWS
1. Login to the Sunbelt Consortium Symplicity module2. Select [Job Fairs] from the tool bar on the top of the screen
3. Select the [Employers/Bidding/Application] tab
4. Select [Sunbelt 2008: September 5 or Sunbelt 2008: September 5 - Late Add Employers] from the session drop-down menu
5. The employers you submitted applications to will appear first in the list of participating employers.
6. Refer to the column titled [ Invitations ] for your application status.
7. If you have been chosen for an interview two buttons will appear: [ACCEPT PRESELECT] and [DECLINE]. Select the appropriate button to record your response to the interview invitation. If you accept the interview, you will then be redirected to choose a specific time slot on the interview schedule. NOTE: Symplicity will prevent you from scheduling interviews at the same time as well as prevent you from scheduling back-to-back interviews.
8. If you were not selected, depending on how the employer designated your invitation status (i.e. left as [pending] or changed to [not selected]) you may see one of the following: NOT SELECTED, NONE, or PENDING. This will also appear if the employer has not submitted their interview selections.
If you do not schedule or decline interviews by the respective preselect and alternate scheduling deadlines, all unscheduled interviews will be automatically declined.
